I am midway through a swap of a 1990 into 86.5 The 90 has been through a flood and I am swapping suspension all the way around. I finished the front end and want to use the rear differential and all to replace the rear on the 86. The 90 is turbo and the 86 isn't. Will it mount or what do I need to make it mount. Let me know if more info is needed.

Thanks

For this deal you will definitely need to pull the engine wiring harness and ECU module from the '90 to go with that engine. I'm sure the '90 model also uses a different body harness also, so you will probably need to move that over as well. The '90 model has Progressive Power Steering rack, you don't have to swap that over but it is a nice feature. drjonez knows alot about the body harness, I suggest that you PM him.

Well I am not going for the total conversion just yet. The diff and all the other linkages in the back knuckles and all is what I am after. I just dont know if the dif from the 90t will mount up to the drive shaft on my 86.5
