I just changed my water pump. I haven't put coolant in the system yet cause I'm waiting on a Boostlogic crank pulley and I can't run the motor at the moment. I also had to reuse the 2 O-rings that go on the pipe on the top of the pump. Is is bad for the rubber O-rings in the pump to be left dry for maybe a week? Will they become brittle?

If new , don't worry. You can put grease on the o rings before or after re-assembly if you like.
