Short story, my turbo oil return line was plugged so at the first start up of the turbo (GT35R ball bearing) the oil pressure built in the turbo and the seals leaked, oil going in the compressor and in the exhaust

Is this bad for the turbo? Does that mean the seals are blown? It doesn't seem to be leaking now that the oil return line is ok, but still, i am worried as i still see some oil coming from the downpipe flange on the turbo sometimes (might be old oil not completly burnt but i ain't sure)

By the way, i have no idea how turbo seals are made so this is why i am asking.

What do you guys think?

thanks a lot
