Could use some detailed help with AVC-R

Just installed the AVC-R and could use some more detailed instruction on how to set it for stock twins. I've had it set to 0.60 on boost and varying duty levels and i still seem to have no problem hitting 1.2, like it will boost insane one run, then the next run it will cut try to cut the boost. How do i disable the learning mode? Yeah I probably could read the instructions, but if someone is willing to walk me through it who has done it all before, that'd be great, you can email me privately.
