i have a uk spec non turbo manual mk3 supra and was wondering

1) can i change the dif from say an auto supra to shorten the ratios, as i no this is the case with the mk 2

2) dear god my diff has a lot of jectyness and back lash, how can i solve this

Rebuild the differential, there are several options available for gear ratios.

I believe all the options were posted on a previous thread.

3.58, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, 5.29, & 5.71

Not entirely true. For Europe, they did on N/A's, depending on country.

In some countries, Autos had 4.10:1, 5-speed's had 3.91:1 (yes, both for N/A). In other countries, it was like here, where all N/A's had 4.30:1.
