would cracks in the head gasket in-between the cylinders cause oil burning? prior to the disassembly. when the car was running when ever i get on it it would puff a good amount of blue smoke (oil). would the cracks on the head gasket cause this?

wouldn't cause oil burning as far as I know...but you're gonna be down on power regardless...

lol, I'll be lucky if I'm near 300HP....and the milage it's getting it would be nice to be that high...

16MPG SUX

I used cometic because it's more forgiving than the HKS (didn't have any good info on lapping, then RIGHT after the engine was back in a running that large thread on lapping popped up)

that and HKS isn't cheap...

maybe when I have a built engine I'll run one, but cometic isn't bad...
