is the 1jz CAS similar in design to the CAS on the 2jz head? is it optical or purely mechanical? Im looking at a few different routes for engine management and wether Ill be going 1.5jz or full out 2jz. Any help is appreciated. also any pics you have of the CAS would be great to.

The 1j crank position sensor is the same as the 2j. The 1j cam position sensor is the same as the 2j. Anorexicpoodle did a parts reference sticky at the top of the page has all of the info you need.

do you have any pictures of both of the sensors, be it from a 1j or 2j since they are swappable?
