Im getting a p0340. vehilce crank but doesn't start. i ohm tested cmp sensors,okay.i ohm tested crank position sensor and its open circuit. How is it an open circuit when im getting fuel pulse and spark still???? When i unplug crank sensor connector i get no fuel pulse.... How can i have an open ckp sensor and have fuel pulse??

I removed the ckp sensor and ohm test between 2 terminals in the connector. OFL. open. Is my sensor bad??

Yes i did. pins look okay and reading are right. I removed the ckp sensor and ohm test. It shows open.regardless of anything else. Isn't this sensor bad????

I just went out to the garage to Ohm out a Crank sensor. It should not have a open circuit. My extra one ohmed out at 1,089ohms at around 60 degree. Hope this helps.
