I was wondering if someone here can help. I am replacing the timing belt on my car and need to know how to remove the crank pulley without using the special service tools the factory manual call out for. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

I just made a tool. If I remember correctly there a couple threaded holes in the pulley. I just took a sheet of aluminum and cut a hole for the socket, and two for the screws. Hope that helps, good luck!

You can use any generic puller set, same as a steering wheel puller, most automotive stores or SEARS or the like will have something. Just use the appropriate thread for the bolts on the two holes.
