This question is for the real intelligent mechanics who know their Supras. I have a 89' Supra Turbo and the car doesn't start. I replaced the plugs, plug wires, coilpack, igniter. The TSRM tells me to also check my camshaft sensor. I just talked to a mechanic and he said there should also be a crank sensor. I looked on the TSRM and couldn't find anything mentioning this sensor equiped on my car. Someone who knows their Supra's please fill me in.

there is no crank sensor for the car. All calculations for engine postion are base off of the cam position sensor on the exhaust camshaft. Oftentimes, the wires in the cps become corroded and brittle. Maybe you should check there

Also do a search for cam position sensors - it should give you a good idea of some problems other people have had.
