Im building a jdm gte. The head looks good. Im wondering if I could/should drop in new valves, stems and seals without grinding the valve seats ?

can you? yes... would i advise it, no! the valves will go in the head, but i guarantee you they will not seal properly if you do not have the proper angles cut on both the valves and the valve seat to match each other.

That confrims my thoughts.
I already have the motor torn down and the head looks ok. Im sure a good 3 or 5 angle would help it out. I dont know what cams im going to use yet. I also dont know how much money to drop into the head. I see all the people on stock heads that make good power. Im only lookin for 550rwhp
