Hey folks,
I've got a problem with my power steering pump or crank pulley. When I turn the steering wheel to the end of the turning radius, it makes this really weird noice. (like metal scrapping) When I start the engine it makes the same noice but after the car warms up the noice goes away. When I turn on the A/C and turn the wheel, it makes the same noice.
When you turn the wheel to the extreme left or right, it looks like the crank pulley gives one way or the other. It's a stock CP and a stock PS pump both orginal OEM parts with 120,000 miles. I know its probably time for the exchange, but any information will be greatly appreciated. What do you think???

I sure as hell hope it's not the crank damper. If this is the case, you should see it wobbling while it runs. I vote PS. Check your fluid level. Remove your belt and start the car cold and see if you get the sound. This will eliminate you thinking the CP.
