Hey
i just received my water temp gauge.

My question is, where do you guys install the water temp sensor?
i was thinking of taking the vsv off and putting it in there, but the sensor is too small.

anyone have pics or info?

The autometer gauge gives you several adapters and one of them fits perfectly into the sensor just below the VSV. It has one spade terminal on it. You may be able to buy the adapter from autometer because I know it will fit there, but other than that I"m not sure what will work. That's what I used for my Greddy gauge and it worked fine.

Sorry don't have any up close pictures. But its one of the two adapters that Autometer puts in their electronic water temp gauges. Fat on the outside with threads and then thin in the middle to accept the gauges temp probe.

Actually a quick search on Autometer found this:

You need either the 1/2" NPT adapter or the 3/8" NPT adapter. Both come in the kit, so I dont' remember which one it is.
