what exactly are the differences b/t an electric boost gauge and a mechanical one? I assume electronic is more accurate but is there any differences in installation or does the install thing on mkiv.com apply to all? Also, the only 2 gauges I can find in psi are the spi and the defi. is the defi worth getting for an extra 200 bucks??? Thanks

Installation is basically the same. Electronic is faster and more accurate. Also, electronic uses much less vacuum hose. You want as little extra hose in your turbo system. Don't worry about getting a gauge with PSI. Just go look at the bar conversion table at MKIV.com. It's easy. If you don't need warning or peak hold, I highly recommend the Greddy 52mm electronic. I bought mine at horsepowerfreaks.com for a very good price. Let me know if you want pics of it intalled.

Also, I have a thread from a few months ago on installing it. Could come in handy. Do a search on my name and check it out.
