Hi guys im in the market of buying a supra its been a long time since i had my rz and the one im getting now is an sz which im told is a 2jzge and the intake manifold covers the engine in this one but in my other one it was straight along with the engine and id like to know the difference and if its going to be harder for me to modify into a turbo cuz in this engine everything is not in the same place im just wondering is it possible to modify and get go power like the 2jzgte if you have any info please let me know. thank you

i wouldnt say its harder i will say it takea a little more money the best thing to do is a swap imo. cause after almost $3500 i i could acheive was 330rwhp in my na-t, now that i did full tt swap with trd rear end and all im 400whp out the gate. and with the right tune ill be very close to 500hp:sadance:

As far as i know the ports are different, the ge and the gte ports are not interchangeable. And the ge is not capable of handling the power that the gte can. Like dcsticks said it will cost more to build the ge. The best advice i can give u is to do a gte swap so there will b no regrets

Where are you getting all these JDM Supras (RZ & SZ) from in New Mexico? But back on topic, not hard at all. Take a look at the N/A section. Many people had turbo the GE with a lot of success.

Same power..just how much power do you want...that's the question of $$ and level of reliability.
