Anyone aware of what the differential options are for the MK3?

If I recall correctly, the factory specifications state that an open
rear end is used; instead of a full spool or a LSD. can anyone
confirm this?

If it's a LSD, is it of good quality? posi-traction quality? (both
wheels spin at the same speed, shown by burning tracks on the
ground)
