i have a 89 supra turbo targa with 143k on the body and 60 on the motor. i recently changed the tranny and diff fluids with Sycromesh in the tranny and castrol synthetic gear oil with the LSD aditive.

NOTE: i do have LSD

i broke the tires loose in first gear and all i saw was one strip of rubber. i wasnt conviced so i went to a patch of sandy gravel road and i quickly just pressed the gas to check if both tires span. sure enough only one spun..

i dont hear any noises besides when i drive by a barracade on a bridge i hear the echo of a train inder my car..

is my diff broken? has this happend to anyone?

its worn out..... do a little seaching, you can find some info about what causes a LSD to go bad

Maybe you are missing an axle! :dunno:

Really.. Your diff is a gonner, replace it or have it rebuilt.
