Do I need an aftermarket BOV?

As I mentioned in an earlier post my TT MKIV is making 25lbs of boost and I can hear the stock BOV working when I decelerate. What is the case for going to an aftermarket unit versus the stock one?
Assuming the case is valid, what would be the best BOV out there and how hard of an install is it to do myself?
