i bought new tranny bolts, diff bolts, trd motor mounts with new bolts. do i need to use threadlock on these. the flywheel bolts alleady come with th paste on but the others do not.

Bellhousing, motormount and Diff bolts do not require threadlock. If use red locktite, you may strip the bolt holes when trying to remove them. The only bolts that should have threadlock on them are flywheel and clutch, or torque convertor if you have an automatic.

BTW, NEVER use red locktite unless you NEVER EVER want a bolt to be removed. It is permanent. Blue is what you should almost always use on bolts that may have to come out at some later date.

you can use green locktite if you like (green is the lowest type) for some added safety.

I use a little weak loctite on the engine / tranny bolts, and driveshaft bolts. I've had them slowly come loose.... Now I never take any chances.

I use loctite on just about everything considering the speed the car achieves. The color loctite just depends on the application. Never worry about using red loctite. Before removal just add a hint of heat to loosen the anaerobic properties and it will come right apart.
