If not, and speaking from recently experience - go get one. Complete PITA to have one cut as only certain professionals can do it. I had 3 copies made so I don't ever have to go through that again...

Lol....I found this out the hard with my camaro. Previous owner lost all but 1 key and I ended up losing it. Not fun having to take apart lock cylinders so a locksmith can make a key for it.

Mine came with 2 and the ID tag, I threw the spare key and ID tag in my safe.. haven't even taken the little plastic thing off the key yet, hopefully I never have to either.

usually they would want the registration to prove it's yours, which most of the time is locked up in the bike... so it could be difficult.

i keep my registration in my jacket. my bike came with one key but first stop after leaving the dealer was a locksmith to get another one cut (bought my kawi used from a honda dealer who didnt carry the key)
