Just wondering because I did the mod yesterday and now I am at work and someone just said that I lost my cruise control since I did the mod. Doesn't matter b/c I never used it anyway, but I just want to know.
you should do the 12V mod whether or not you did the ETTC mod. unless you are plannig to keep the car stock
the MKIV.com article will clear thing up. but basically it says that our cars when BPUed needs more fuel around 4k rpm but in stock form the fuel pump don't go to 12V untill 5k. so in essence you'll be runnign lean. which is bad simply put.
I have both ETTC mod and 12V mod. I still have my cruize control. if you lost it then you did the mods wrong
