ok...it's time to change the oil on my supra (first time since i bought it in august). from what i've read, i'll probably get one of the synthetics. now...how much should i put in and is there anything else i need to know before doing this? also, i remember reading some where that i needed to remove something to get to the filter??? please help

It is going to take about 6 quarts of Synthetic to fill the car up. I do all my changes on a lift so I access the filter from there. It's not hard at all, pretty straight forward.

you can get to the filter without taking anything out. if all else fails you can take the battery out and with a pair of channel locks break looks the filter if its stuck. just watch out when you are under the car and taking the filter out, tends to spill a lot of oil all over your face.
