Hey everyone I was looking at getting a double din dvd player for my 93 JDM TT Supra, and I was wondering if this would fit into the car without any heavy modification to the console.
Thanks a lot for the help.

It has the dimensions provided on the page, just measure height. I had to cut my dash to fit it, wish I had searched enough to find a unit that didnt need cutting but I took the surround into a store that had quite a fair few of the models and they were all the same, a little too high.

They fit fine, but more importantly, if you want one with a screen for GPS or movies, it sits really low and is actually quite difficult to see. I prefer a flip out screen. Flip outs also come in slightly larger sizes at 8", but more importantly, are at a more natural viewing height.

If you are looking more for gps you should pick up the kenwood with the garmin feature $999+tax. Played with it in store. I do love the display, and UI with the pioneer models about $1k new on ebay. I am still waiting for a feature that I thought pioneer would sell 4 yrs ago...Bluray! LOL. I have not bought a dvd movie in years. Hopefully the 2012 ces will show us something new.

Make's a lot of sense to get the single din player because of the viewing angle. I only really wanted a double din because they are more aesthetically pleasing, I find they look cleaner.
