Drag radials? They worth the money?

I have a little traction problem with first and second causing me to loose a second or two in the quarter. Best time is now 12.7 ,BUT it was only my third try. I really cant get the rpms above 3500 without having major wheel spin, and under 3500 rpm I cant build enouph boost. I think drag slicks or drag radials are my best choice.

O yeah I was running around 45 psi too. Will lower it next time.

Thanks

45psi you:eek:need some serious tire under that thing , drag radials will be good but, ET's WOULD BE even better. I feel it's risking your ride,(highend move's around sometime's).

Here at our local 1000' track my buddy dropped .5 seconds off his time just by switching to nitto drag radials. He had a 97 bpu+++ 6 speed. For $300 I think it is a very worthwhile mod. They stick well enough that when he did a high rpm launch it twisted his driveshaft over itself 3 times!
