Anybody got an idea where to find a replacement center bearing? I haven't run across it in the usual auto parts stores...is this a bend over and lube it item from the dealer?

thanks...

Can't you just measure the length and get the existing d-shaft extended?
I've seen it done all the time to extra cab d-shaft that has a two piece d-shaft. Maybe the flange needs to be cut off and weld to the lengthen piece? Or is it a slip yoke type?

yea, then you have 14 y/o+ U-joints... my center bearing was sloppy and my u-joints were shot.
mine are ~20 years old

Just go with the one piece aluminum driveshaft and never look back. Probably ONE of the best mods i have done to my car yet.

Why do you say this?
I'm just curious as I'm considering doing it for a cleaner component and reduced rotating weight.
Do you notice anything?

You will notice a huge difference trust me. Just gets up and goes a hell of a lot quicker.
