the way i rebuild my engine the first time was by pulling it and doing a complete rebuild of every component, and getting it all cherry and clean, worked great the car is wonderous, but pushing the number i am now, and the job i have now wont allow me to just pull the engine in case something happens.

so has anyone had any luck with dropping the crossmember to get the oil pan out to do a bottom end rebuild??
