I was drinking tonihgt at a friend's birthday party and I ran into a highly modified DMS. I saw him look at me funny and I smelled race so I gunned it at the first light we stopped together at and I put a couple of buslengths on him before I shut it down. He tried some shit again at the next light so I actually tried to gun it this time and put a few blocks on him before stopping. I didn't think my VW could put such distance on a car.

Those are probly about the only people that run slicks on a AWD DSM. Why run them when you can cut 1.6-1.7 60' on stock tires?

So there are a WHOLE WHOPPING 10 DSMs that pulled 1.3 - 1.5 60' times which are pretty much race cars, yet you say that "usually" slicks on a DSM are those times. Stop web surfing and get out there and run your car...>If you have one.

That is because 99% of dsmers dont run slicks. There isnt much point until you are making 600+hp, and most DSM's are only 300-400whp. But theres a ton of 250whp ones out there too, nothing special.
