curb weights (90% sure)
MB - 4075 lbs 469 hp / 516 tq
BMW - 4050 lbs 500 hp / 384 tq

plus the M5 is around middle of fourth when he passes MB (around 110 mph)

im sure off the line MB would have him until upppp mph

and magazines do a test yet ?

M5 HAD 4 PASSENGERS THE E55 HAD ONLY THE DRIVER.


....and still the e55 got his ass handed to him.

Motor Trend tested them in a comparison test earlier this year. In their test, the E55 was consistently quicker.
However, I am sure that the E55 would dominate the M5 in the 1/4 mile. SMG is a bitch to launch from a dig.
