for those wanting to fit 28"s in the rear it s easy if useng the rx7 rims which have a 6 1/2 backspacing. 1st shave and not roll your rear lips and for extra clearance ih ave koni shocks and i rasied the perch up 1/2 which wasnt needed but did so to make sure.i only have konis and tien lowering springs in the car which is just a 1.2 drop to begin with. the only issue is to get the rim/tires on the car to bolt on u must deflate down to like 8 psi due to the suspension hangs down on a a jack and hits the plastic pieces on both sides. once its lowered on the tire it all centers out. even with about 500 lbs. of fat people bounceing in the rear it dosent touch the tire. the tire tucks into the wheel well nicely. hopefully this will answer some peoples questions on a 28" m/t et street slick fitment.. my searches found nothing thats why i posted this for future information. thanks to jaynite also for the help on this tire fitment.
