ok
i just got my new xtant 1001dx, now i have my mac daddy components and my xtant 4180c, now i need to get my subs, im pretty set on diamond audio mac daddy 12s

now im looking for a headunit, not decided on what i want to go with, i hear a lot about eclipse headunits. Whats good model eclipse headunit to get? I was looking at a few on ebay.com because i dont know any other place that sells eclipse and there dont seem to be many on ebay.com. I noticed quite a few eclipse 7002 but they do not have a cd player so I would have to get a 6 or 8 disk cd changer aswell and i cant afford that much now. I am just trying to get my system together, i've got about 500-600$ for a headunit, anyone have any recommendations as to which headunit i should get? Maybe i should go with something along the lines of alpine? kenwood? etc?

also thomas, if i was to call you up could i buy a eclipse unit off you or would i have to come into the shop? do you have any used units you could sell me?

thanks :)

The Eclipse CD5441 is what I would suggest for around that price.

Might be kinda cool to have an in-dash 6 disc changer with the 7002. What kinda prices are they goin' for on E-bay?

In regard to selling you equipment, where are you located?

The only product I am allowed to ship to other cities is discontinued stuff. I'll look around and see what I can dig up.

Awesome, I would be located in Florida...Did you want me to give you a call? I'd rather buy something from you because you are rather reputible and would love to help out a fellow supra owner than some smuck on ebay.com :) Also have some other questions regarding boxs and such...did you want me to hit you up with a phone call?

Thanks Bro
Dave

what do you think of Panasonic DVD/CD 7" In-Dash TV - CY-VMD9000U??

compared to the eclipse monitor lineup, the knewood lineup, alpine, pioneer, etc, etc?

hows this monitor? i've heard some people don't like it and they return it for something better?

what ya think?
I may just get a monitor with a cd player and no dvd and then hook up a playstation 2 instead of a dvd player?

whats your opion on this?
thanks

I would have to say stay away from Panasonic. :( They have been having a lot of problems in the industry. If you want a video go for Alpine, I have only heard and SEEN good things. :)

the ivac800? Thats just a 5.6" screen and a cd player...they need to make a damn monitor with mp3 support [email protected]#$ I am thinking of getting that new JVC mp3 unit and the eclipse or alpine monitor and a playstation 2...I don't know though....why does everything have to be such a pain in the ass?
I currently have the IVAC-800 in my Supra with a DVD-5205 below it..

If I had to do it all over again I would have the Kenwood 910DVD and build a center channel below the unit.

That Kenwood 910DVD flat kicks ass IMO and is the best multi-media piece available for any amount of money.
