yo...is there anyway to tell the year mkiii an ecu has been pulled from by looking at the label....the dickhead seller wont answer my question...or hasnt answered my question atleast

It looks like a 87-88... you can tell by the extra connector/wire hanging off the ecu.. The 90s dont have that

also the plugs are yellow -- later years (89+) have grey plugs

if he is being shady dont buy it. maybe you should look for another one. you dont want to end up with a broken ECU.

well i bidded on the ecu anyhow....he has a 100% feedback...so i said what the hell....if i win ill get it for 41 including shipping...but yo animantoric im interested in buying your ecu...whats price you lookin at and what kind of condition is it in?
