does anyone know if you need this part after the egr mod. seems to run fine. but if I don't need it then i'm going to take it off.

By the way I have both block off plates installed

mine is gone having NO PROBs, not even a check engine lite! :)

No I am trying to find out if you actully need the little relay that is connected to the egr valves ------ take a look at the pic -----

You need the resistor to stop the ECU code if that's what you're asking. If you're asking if you can remove the hardware after both block off plates the answer is YES.

Please excuse the stupid question, but how can I tell if my car has the egr mod? (bought it used a few years ago). Is it easy to install, like taking apart the engine and all? What brand is the best to use? Thanks!
