hey guys, whats a safe range, in celcius, For EGT's?

when does the "danger" zone begin, and when are you in trouble? Thanks!

yeah its right next to the dp right on #6

i usually tune for low 800's. 900c stuff is starting to melt.
as a side note- dont forget if you run really lean you will have low egts as well.

I have a set max. limit of 850C. With the probe on number 6 runner close to the head. But I never really see it go near that. Just in case though, this is where it starts adding fuel as far as my EGT temp fuel compensation goes...

I tune for 825C since I prefer to be on the safe side. 850C w/ probe tapped in your location is a good temp to tune for.
