OK I dont have a supra so if this needs to be moved I will understand, I have a 240sx low compression pistons, forged rods and just installed my EGT tonight. At 13 psi with the wideband 02 sensor hooked up I was reading 12.2 on the wideband, and just rolling on in second and then to third my EGt climbed to 900. I heard that 900 is too high so I let off. The probe is about 2" from the head in the manifold. Is 900 to high? Even for forged pistons? Also I have been running my car for about 4 weeks at this boost before I got the EGT so it has been running this hot all olong, I just didnt know until now. Any ideas?

I mounted mine just above the flange of the exhaust housing in the turbo....or you could mount in the collector of the header. EGT's that high are not good....especially in 3rd gear. Good luck
