This one is a few years old, after I sell my hosting company I'm going to build an electric street car based off the DDR motorsports GT kit car. Mine will be hydrogen powered and not battery powered. 336volts, 2000 amps, and a 11" electric motor can make some crazy power.

That's the old setup with standard lead acid car batteries. Their new one can go 300+ miles and 0-60 in 3.6. All done with li-ion laptop batteries. The quarter time's suck because there is no transmission. It's one gear and runs out pretty quick. I wish they'd atleast put a 3 speed in it.

Also HP just announced the other day quick charge li-ion batteries. You can go from 0 to 80% charged in 60 seconds.

Heh Ive always thought of that. I can see it now... "Dude yo I just got twin Lithium Ion Batteries from Autozone!!!" .... *sigh*.... Fast car... but I agree, it takes the fun out of everything.

But hey, we'll have to be off this planet in the next thousand years anyways or we'll have killed ourselves with all the poisons, so what difference does it make to run gas or electric? Then in another few thousand years the earth will be just like it was before we came along.

so wat that lil thing all electric motor? b/c i did my senor exit paper on these cars, this would have been helpful if i found it earlier, didnt think we would see them so quick.........that car is prety bad ass huh?
