Alright.... as most of you know, my step dad runs a salvage yard... well im sick of them not having anymore supras.. so i just sit there.. and i cant really do much with any othe parts there... BUT... only thing I have left is the electric fan mod....! Wooo.. I have a whole damn yard full of cars with fans... alright, I want a fan that can atleast do 2900 cfm...

need to know this though, how many amps do our alternators push? i have an OEM alternator on there right now... brand spankin new....

alright i know the eagle talon fans push 2560 cfm... i need little power being drawn and more cfm's... is there a website which compares different cars electric fans? i dont think there is such a thing... i have tried to search...

as soon as i have the info that i need i am going to go there (since its a 20 min drive) and get the fan i want, i was originally going to go with a Corvette fan.... hehehe... :D, let me know what u guys think... thanks!!

FYI...

The stock alternator puts out 85 Amps. With my setup the stock alternator was unable to keep up with the amp draw. I tried everything including a brand new one and after an hour of driving the battery would be dead. Many people disagree with me but that was my experience. I bought a 160 amp PowerMaster alternator and have not had any problems since.

If you have problems with the eclipse fans, check out the fan from a Lincoln Mk VII or VIII. Lots of air movement. A lot of 4x4 guys run them in place of their engine-driven fans. I'm gonna get one for the Bronco II when I come across the right deal. 2500-2700 cfm I think. Measure carefully, might be a little big for the Supra, I can't remember...

thanks for the info you just reminded me that that is what my cousin has on his mustang.. it made a huge difference! but then he also had that power drop...

i have a full audio system in my car so i would have to invest in a stronger alternator before anything

On eBay s00pa 160w alternators go on from time to time. What's your system? Do you have the 400w tweeters that they sell on eBay? ;)

100w x 4 for the door panels (clarion pro audios) and the rear (american pro audio) and 1000w for the rear, 2 10' kicker solobarics for sound and 2 12' earthquakes in truck boxes for weight reduction from the solobarics
