As I'm progressing though my rebuild I'm surprised at how well some of the gaskets seem to be holding up. Although I am worried if it is okay to re-use after being "untorqued" from whatever they were between..

Some broke off some haven't but my concern is my budget of course and whether it's smarter to buy one of those "complete" engine gaskets kits for everything OTHER than my MHG(that of course will be cometic) or to buy each separate as I need them.

I don't know how important quality gaskets are for anything other than MHG really.


Another concern is if any other hose or line is worth considering replacing other than all vacc hoses/lines.

Sry if already covered just wanted to be specific.

Get the engine gasket set so everything is fresh and i would replace ALL coolant lines.

dont use the oil pan gasket. fipg for that. from toyota around 10 bux. put a screw in the end to seal it from drying out in the tube.
