I am trying to increase oil flow for my 7mgte. I have, but not installed, a Permacool oil filter relocation kit, Permacool remote oil thermostat, and an aftermarket oil cooler.

I will trash the old oil cooler, lines and old oil filter bracket.

I plan to run SS lines...from the block to the oil filter relocate, then to the thermostat, then back to the block. And separate lines from and to the thermostat and the oil cooler.

This is my question...am I eliminating the drain back to the oil pan, so I would just plug it with a bolt?

Dennis: Correct I used a piece of aluminium stock centre drilled and machined to the same thickness as the banjo fitting as I didn't have a short bolt handy.

-10 or bigger fittings are good if you have any 90's in your circuit
(1 x 90 degree bend = 10 feet of straight line restriction wise)
