Extrude Honing?

I know that a while back, someone was going to have their upper and lower intake manifolds Extrude Honed.

I was wondering if anybody has actually had that done and what kind of gains were seen from doing it.

Or, has anybody done a before and after dyno with one of the aftermarket intake manifolds?

My car has all the manifolds Extrudehoned, but it was done before I had my car, so I'm not sure what the gains were. I've heard some people say 25hp, but who knows.

All I know is that my car is faster @ 17psi than most cars that are running 19-20+ psi.

But yeah then again, you have much more done then the avg joe with a BPU supra. One thing you ALWAYS seem to NEVER mention.

chk out the powerhouseracing.com website for dyno sheets for after market manifolds.

NEVER meantion?

Didn't I just meantion it by saying that my car had the manifolds Extrudehoned? Click on "My Mods" in my sig. and everyone can see what they are. I just don't choose to call me Supra BPU+++++, I think BPU+ is an adequate description.

it'll cost ya $ 675 to get the intake manifold done. sorry, don't have my supra back together yet, so i can't give you any rock solid dyno numbers on it:(

Keep us posted when you get the car back. I'm curious to see what that $675 gets you. It might be a pretty good bang for the buck mod. It's certainly "stealthy".
