im getting aggravated at my soupy...three months ago i made a pass at the local quarter mile track and pow... blew the hose behind the head... what a mother to fix at the track, not to mention embarrasing. last month another pass bang spew crap...the little phocker under the isc valve... tonight!!! again this time the one under the thermostat housing... am i doing some injustice to the supra gods? or is there an underlying issue.
any thoughts???

all those hoses blow, its just a matter of time.

if you have alot of miles on your car, then yes its just a mater of time.

change them all at once and thats it

yea, I had to do all those hoses, I am now the master of coolant hoses

yep, get use to it.... u shoulda seen how i fixed the coolant flush thingy.... it busted in half on me... so i took out my chap stick tube, used it to connect both sides of the heater hose together, and clamped the bitch on just so i could get home

You can get rid of about half of the coolant hoses on the car. Just order new OEM hoses and spring clamps for the ones you need and you won't have to worry about them for another 15 years.

I just blew the one at the back of the head too....blew approx 5 litres of coolant and hardly a drop was on the ground!!! I guess that would explain the HUGE cloud of steam that went over the windshield. LOL gotta love the 16yr old hoses!

ya, i happened o just blow the hose from behind the head tonight while racing a gsx. oh well i won but smoked while winning (damn clutch ). Coolant actually shot onto my windhield somehow. I dunno.
