Factory Pin stripes on MKIVs???

I have been looking for a 93-98 Supra Hard Top SE NA. Going through the forums autotrader, etc I have have noticed that alot of the SE NAs for sale have pin stripes which appear to be from the factory , because most of the ones I have seen have the original paint. I think pin stripes on a MKIV look like shit but I was wondering how many were produced like this and was it only on the SE versions? Anyone here know?

Pinstripes are a common Port add-on in the Southeast Region.
You will mostly find these ugly brown pin strips on the 95 se models. I belive it came from the factory like this. I had a white 95 se that had it and the frist day of owning it i had to remove it.

I believe all SE models have the stripe from the factory.
If so mine doesn't anymore so HAH HA!

That is correct. 1995 SE models had pin stripes from factory, all other pin stripes were dealer add-ons.
Some cars look good with pinstripes but supra IMO dont.
good thing those pin stripes weren't painted onto the car... and Removing the strips were a pain on my SE.
My SE never had pin stripes. Dealer add on.
