Did any one had their factory twins rebuild by SP Engineering? How was the quality? How long do turbos last afterwords?

I didnt know they did it... do it yourself. Its not that hard at all.

And dont rebuild.... upgrade

what do you mean by doing it yourself? open it up and replace the seal and the fins. don't you have to know how to balance it accurately or it'll run like garbage.

stock twins setup making 550hp max on race gas? no thanks. id rather go single billet dbb 6265 on a log mani, make more power on lower octane gas with nearly the same spool characteristics.... only beneficial to upgrade the twins if you are a diehard stocker fan and love the sequential system, or you live in cali and are afraid of tickets.

While I cannot speak specifically about any factory twin turbo rebuilds, I do know that everything I've ever seen that came out of SP Engineering was utterly top-notch.

Alex, the owner, is a legendary stickler for high quality and NEVER cutting corners. If he's putting his company's name on it, I'm sure it's a quality product or service.

SPE does not provide this service directly. If it does provide the service, I am quite sure it would be handled by the same company that is my turbo consultant and upgraded my factory turbos way back in 1996 or thereabouts.
