What oil filters are you guys using on your high HP engines (let's say 800 rwhp and up)and why?

Amsoil filter here. Filters down to the smallest Micron of all filters.

oem is not that great guys, not unless you are specifically buying the denso filters.
wix, purolator/pureon, amsoil, mobil 1. in that order. i wouldnt buy anything fram or off brand. the last thing you want is glued together cardboard coming apart and sending pieces into the block.
high hp motor does not necesarilly need a better filter, just run a great filter no matter what and don't have a single worry. the filter will never see pressure past a certain amount as long as your bypass is working fine. but youll want a nice stamped and pressed filter as opposed to a cheapo glued one. filtering quality comes down to mesh type and design from synthetic, or semi synthetic, to "cardboard". the good thing about synthetic types is that they are more uniform in design and "rounded" through the holes.... sort of why amsoil pushes theirs so much.. they tend to filter smaller particles while still flowing better.
