Does anyone know what size the little filter that comes with the profec b is? I called a shop and they asked if it was the 4" or the 6" filter? I dont have one yet so i cant measure to see what size it is. Thinking about buying one that is missing it. Thanx

The lfilter is like 2" in length, and the actual nipple is like 2mm in diameter on each end.

edit:

BTW, it's 4mm or 6mm, not 4" or 6". That is the length of the filter. They retail $8 each.

I just bought a used Profec B and nothing was mentioned about this filter.... can anybody elaborate on what it is for/what it filters? Do I need to get one for the Profec B.

They are just vacuum filters so the boost controller doesn't become clogged over time.

my hks evc ez didnt come with filters neither, but I got them through chris at hpf. I'd say is better to have them in the first place. better safe than sorry.
