Most of those manifolds are 304SS. That is the weaker heat steel when it comes to direct heat sources (better material for catbacks as the heat has greatly dissapated) Those headers will tend to crack after time with the intense heat. The one Chris and I have been working on is a 321SS which is MUCH more heat resistant because it uses titanium as the stabilizer. I have one that is about finished (about one more week or so) and being a second piece (chris was the first) I am looking to get about 650.00 for it.

Great point eric!! I like to switch things up a bit. I would like to have the easy install of the HKS type kit, but I REALLY want a forward facing twin kit like the k26 setup!

THAT is NOT a 1jz head flange....this is one....check the pattern difference...that pic is a 2jz manifold flange....
