after taking apart the interior pretty much to gain access to all the wiring, we concluded that channel 3 on my a/d/s 6 channel amp is bad. for a temp solution, we disconnected one of the channels being used for the tweeter and plug the speaker in but at a reduced power probably because of some relay. however, now i must decide what to do with the amp. does anyone know if channels can be fixed internally or do you have to buy a new amp? second part to that question, does anyone know any shops that carry a/d/s products. im assuming the amp is an older edition because i went to the web page and it only has speakers and subwoofers now. thanks for any information provided

if you're good with electronics you could pop the top off and take a look. That happened to one of my amps, but when I followed the circuit I found a cut trace on the pc board. A little scraping with an exacto knife and some solder and I was back in business.
