For about 6 months now I have been patiently searching for a Supra, I was very picky, I told myself I would not settle for an Automatic.

But this deal was too good to pass up:
Dark blue color (Favorite)
Blue interior
Very minor flaws (Small dent.. broken antennea, automatic, exhaust (may be heat shield) rattles, bad heater core, bumper paint is fucked.
Leather Interior
No Targa (dont really care)
Interior is in mint condition minus some wear on the front seats)
The tires arent bad
All the motors work (even the broken antennea motor)
Engine/fluids looks clean

Its NA but I dont even care anymore, this is the Supra of my dreams!

It went like this: "I will sell it to you for 1500$ only if you buy it right now, we close in 20 minutes." So I scrambled desperately to the bank, it felt like it took forever to find.

Well I found the bank, and bought it on the spot, it runs like new I dont regret it at all.

the annoying looking kid is my brother, ignore it.
I will take some nicer day shots sometime.

Back bumper isnt nearly as bad as the front, the rest of the paint looks brand new though, this car was treated well, and will continue to be.

I can't wait to get the bumpers painted, theyre bugging me hehe, theyre the only real visible defects

How many miles?

The problems you described are very minor and fixable so it looks like you got a fairly good deal.

If you still want a 5spd you can always swap the auto for manual :dunno:

I must say the first supra is always the best one. You tend to want a newer one later though, after hanging out with supra owners.

However, I just realized something. I think 86.5's are getting a bit more rare. In another 5-10 years they might be hard to find!

It's too bad you aren't in socal. I have an 87 NA 5 speed for sale for 1000 and I can't seem to get rid of it.

That faded front part is because of damn leather, which is so popular in USA.

Anyway, concrats on having real car :D

I bought a 1986.5 off of ebay for $400... gosh that thing was a mess though. It even had hidden porno under the seats. The guy smoked too so there were burn marks all over... I felt sorry for the supra. I was trying to sell a few months ago after I replaced a few things and cleaned it all up, but then I got a good deal on a 7mgte swap, so now I'm going that route. Good luck to you and have fun with the NA!
