so today a group of us decide to hit up the drag strip...
i decided not to run due to no bcc and my boost still acting up, and didnt want to run a low 13 and make supras look bad...
anyways we're just having a fun night and there are two cars that completely have my attention..
the first is just fucking nutts....an 05 competition coupe SRT10 viper with the gawdamnest biggest blower ive ever seen..
the other being a rediculously clean yellow z06 vette...
well the first up of the two that catch my attention is the z06....when hes warming up his tires listening to the car im already just like
.....then he lines up and goes...and holy shit was that the fucking craziest sounding car ive ever heard...at that time im like hes definately got at least built heads.....it goes through and runs an 11.7
next up...the blown viper....he heat cylcles his tires for like 20 minutes creating the most giant cloud of rubber smoke and wind sends it into the bleachers and the tracks onlookers as well as shooting random flames out of the side exhausts...the car sounds good...but still not quite as loud as the z06...comes up to the line.....spins the tires through 1st...shift...spins through 2nd...shift...spins through 3rd....then hes gone and comes through with a 12.3 ....i was dissapointed...
later in the evening...when we decided we were freezing and wanted to leave, as we are nearing the freeway entrance...all of a sudden the same z06 is next to me...i try to get his attention to just give him props and congrats on the fantastic times...but hes talking on the phone so no luck, whateva...
we get on the freeway...and then he pulls up and just stares me and my freind down, i just give him a thumbs up...then hes just pacing me...and all of a sudden drops the gear and is sitting there with it revving crazy high and he is leaning foward making the funniest expression like hes about to fight to the death..i really didnt want to run him because of the pointlessness...but im just like whateva i wanna see what it can do on the freeway...i just stick it in 5th at like 70mph and floor it.....he jumps ahead fucking crazy hard i hit boost cut, shut down...im like ok thats coo......he then slows, and i give him thumbs up and i pass him...he then gets behind me like he still wants to go(so im figuring he knew i wasnt really trying)...he then lines up along side me again, then i say ok whateva...stick it in 4th at about 70 again...floor it and we stay even for a second...then he begins to pull away, i hit boost cut....he continues to pull...he then slows again, and i come up, he throws the peace sign, we give him a thumbs up....and before we split ways...some fucking ricer rsx speeds up and almost gets in an accident when changin lines as if he "wanted some"....we then split ways....
