Ok got about 1000 miles on my freshly built 7mgte...got a list of mods in sig....550's,lexafm, HKS EBC, etc. etc. etc.

LS1 Camaro with cam/cam gear/upper and lower plenum/exhaust/intake/shift kit in his auto
This is what the guy told me I didn't verify.
I have yet to tune my safc so I was running a safe 15 lbs. of boost on my 60-1 ct-26
ok on to the writeup:
It was a brisk March night. I am cruising the supra through the area at about 1030 pm when I see this camaro start up in a nearby parking lot. I go up the street to circle it one more time. I have yet to run the supra since the new engine. We casually stroll by each other in opposite directions when he just lights em up. I just sit on my brakes and wait for him to stop and come back around. I pull into a nearby parking lot to see if he will approach. Sure enough he pulls besides me and rolls down his window. I ask, "You wanna run that thing tonight?".
"Sure! Where at?"
"Follow me over to this strip"
We cross the intersection and line up. He takes the suicide lane as I drop her down into low gear and switch to my 15 psi setting on my ebc. We go from a 20mph roll on my third honk. We take off side by side and at the top of first I hit Fuel Cut at 16 psi. It's ok though cuz we are still side by side.... I shift to second and leave him by about 1 and a half cars. Hit 3rd and he switches over to the right side of the road because he knows its over. We meet at the parking lot at the other end of the strip and exchange comments:
Me: "Nice run man...what ya got?"
Him: "Aww its stock. Let's go again"
Me: "Aight!"
So we pull around and line up going the other way. As soon as we hit it we see a car on the suicide lane and we both cut off. We pull back around and he says he wants to go from a dig. I say aight knowing this is a possible weak point for me....neverfear boost launch is here. So we come to a complete stop and I start to brakeboost on the line. I hit about 2 psi by the time he hits his third honk and we take off. He sits at the line and spins while I immediately pull 4-5 cars on him and just shut down. It was quit embarrassing really. So he decides he wants one more run from a 20 punch and I gladly agree. We line up and I let him get the hit. We are dead even by the top of second and being an auto that I was shifting manually I didn't take the overdrive off and almost immediately went from 2nd to 4th. Nonetheless we are still dead even and at about 100 we are nose to nose and he shuts down. Maybe he was gettin a lil skurd. Who knows. But we both shut em down and bullshit in the parking lot when he asks to see under my hood. So I oblige but he could make anything outta it. Thats when he proceeds to tell me his mods and that he was just bullshitting me cuz he thought I was just another ricer. He was a cool guy and since he thought we were dead even in the last 20mph roll on and I didn't want to make any ricer excuses and tell him I pretty much missed 3rd....I asked him if he wanted to do one more 20 mph roll.....so we did....and i think i hurt his feelings because he dipped off after I top'd out second gear.
I had fun. Can't wait to see what she does at the track.
