The first run was 15.6 @96mph
3.0 LOL

then
14.6 @101 MPH
2.6

I think i''m feathering the clutch too lightly so i'll go harder next time and maybe those 60' will go down.

This is with the sp61gt spiking to 10lbs

man... with those 60's youve got to be frying the shit out of the clutch

i tend to launch around 5k on manuals on street tires... its really just a catch up game with the clutch

try launching with the e-brake
for example.. get to the line, and start letting go of the clutch till the car just barely starts to move (but dont let it stall)... then pull up the e-brake, give it some gas, and keep slippin the clutch

i was cutting 1.5 60's like that in an evo (given that the clutch barely would make it thru 10 passes)

what rpm are you launching at? try 3500-4000 and slip it a bit until it hooks up.
yeha i'll go higher next time, the track felt so slippery so i was over cautious.

Yes, the 60fts are killin you.. And so is the lack of boost that your SP61GT is running.

Just drop the clutch and let your tires spin a bit if your using street tires. No sence in slipping the clutch if your not using drag tires.
